Exporing the Possibility and Potential for Pay for Performance in America's Public School

The AASA recently released its findings from a 10 question member survey of 536 school administrators from 45 states.  AASA members who responded to the survey were split regarding their level of interest in pay for performance.

• More than 20% had no interest in pay-for-performance programs.
• 44% reported a moderate or strong interest in pay-for-performance programs for individual educators.
• 46% reported a moderate or strong interest in pay-for-performance programs for groups of educators.
• 44% reported a moderate or strong interest in district wide pay-for-performance programs.
