ECI Releases Accomplished Teaching Pathways
In part as a response to President Obama's recent call for changes in teacher compensation, the Educator Compensation Institute has announced the release of Accomplished Teaching Pathways, or A-PATH. A-PATH was created to generate comprehensive and systemic changes to teacher compensation systems, is the culmination of more than a decade of work examining, negotiating, and implementing alternative teacher compensation, and is the product of input, ideas, and insights from hundreds of administrators, teachers, researchers, and advocates.
ECI President Jim Carlson -
“I was extremely excited to hear of President Obama's assertion that changes in teacher compensation may improve our schools. I believe A-PATH validates that assertion."
